 Broadcast on channel 631 the traffic status report service offers viewers the latest updates from 2 high ways and major overpass/express roads in Taipei city.
The service provides traffic pictures sourced directly from websites of National Freeway bureau and Dept. of Transportation of Taipei city. Images are updated every 3 min.

The aim of the service is to let users avoid traffic before that go out and is, according to EMC, expected to be extremely useful in the holiday seasons. The application was developed by EMC's engineers using OpenTV SDK in just 3 days. |
