 Nickelodeon UK has taken a highly simple approach to interactivity running this voting application during the UK half term school holidays. Watch your own week allows the viewers to choose the next programme to air on the channel - and offers multiple methods including telephone, SMS and now interactive TV.

 The application doesn't take up the whole screen real estate - and the voting screen is perhaps a little ugly in design compared to what Nickelodeon UK's online team are capable of.
The banner confirming the vote has been received (at the bottom of the screen) is something I haven't seen before in other applications.
Running from 22-28 October 2001, "Watch your own Week" saw 293,403 votes received through the set-top-box, representing 55.1% of the total number of votes received. (Votes could, be sent via Sky digital, SMS, phone or web).
